Can’t find the Manga Title you are looking for in the library collection? Are you missing a book in a series? Or do you just want to talk to other teens about your love of MANGA? Join us for the Manga Meet Up and Book Swap Party. There will be many new and used books for you to trade. Talk about your favorite series and make suggestions for new titles. Stay for the whole time or drop in as you are able.  This is a Teen Event open to ages 12-17. No registration required.

Are you a fan of Homestuck, the web comic by Andrew Hussie? We invite you to join us to celebrate John Egbert’s day of birth with his favorite treats (Faygo and Doritos). We will also have a photo booth and green screen available. We encourage you to dress as a character and join in discussion and activities all about Homestuck!

This program is free and open to students age 12-18. Snacks and beverages provided. Costumes optional but enthusiastically encouraged. Contact Teen Services at 451-6904 for more information.

Teen Advisory Board (TAB)


Who can join? Teens, age 13- 17, from any school district in Erie County, are eligible to join the ECPL TAB.

What will teens do on the TAB? Help the library stay current with teen trends and hot topics. Advise the library on collections, programs and services. Suggest, plan, execute and attend programs.  Publicize and promote programs.

Why should I join? Make new friends and have fun while building teamwork and leadership skills. Earn community service hours which make a REAL difference in your community and get a free TAB t-shirt.

When does TAB meet? TAB meetings and events vary. Check the events calendar at www.erielibrary.org or call Teen Services at 814-451-6904 for more information.

How do you join? Attend a meeting and complete the application to get started.
