Are you currently a member of a book club? Are you interested in forming a book club, but aren’t sure where to begin?
The Blasco Memorial Library has a new program called Book Club in a Bag. The kit contains everything a group needs to enjoy reading and discussing a book. Each bag includes ten copies of a title, a list of discussion questions, a biographical sketch of the author, and a book sign-up sheet to help the Leader stay organized.
We are happy to announce the addition of eleven new book club kits to our popular Book Club in a Bag program. The new titles are: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Dear Life by Alice Munro, Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver, An Irish Country Doctor by Patrick Taylor, The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom, Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls by David Sedaris, March by Geraldine Brooks, Monique and the Mango Rains by Kris Holloway, The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman, Returned by Jason Mott, and The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce. Stop by the Information Desk at Blasco Memorial Library or call us at 451-6927 for more information on the program, to place a hold or pick up a kit.
Kits can be picked up at the Blasco Memorial Library. They check out for 90 days.
