How to get a library card
A current library card is all that is needed for borrowing circulating materials. Staff at any library outlet will issue you a card when you show one of the following proofs your current address:

Utility Bill
PA vehicle registration
Voter registration card
Auto Insurance Card
College ID
Checkbook
Mailed bank statement
PA Non-driver’s ID card
Payroll check
Professional license
Report Card
School Bus Pass
School ID
W-2 form
Personal mail with a current postmark
Applications for children age 14 and under require a parent, grandparent or guardian signature to accept responsibilities for borrowed materials.
Library cards are free to residents of Erie County, out-of-town college students residing in the county and anyone with an ACCESS PA sticker on their library card from another library.
There is a $2.00 replacement fee for lost cards.
If you change your address or lose your library card, please notify the library immediately.
