What is One Book One Erie?

What if all of Erie County read the same book at the same time and then came together to talk about it? This is the premise of One Book, One Erie. Erie participants have come together the past 4 years to read:
2004 – Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
2005 – A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson
2006 – A Thread of Grace by Mary Doria Russell
2007 – The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

We will be reading A Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold in 2008. Please join us in reading and talking with others about this environmental based book. Lee Steadman will be having art classes in conjunction with the book throughout the year. Just click on www.onebookerie.org for the schedule of events!
